What are your rates?
Initial or intake session is 90-minutes and is $225.
Session fee after intake is $150.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation before our first session to determine if we will be a good fit.
Do you accept insurance?
TherapyMetrics does not accept insurance. Private pay has several benefits — primarily, a greater level of privacy and control over your treatment. When a therapy session is billed through insurance, the insurance company often requires detailed documentation about your mental health, including a diagnosis and updates regarding your progress. Some clients I work with do not meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis, and some would prefer to have the details of their mental health treatment separate from their insurance/medical records. Further, insurance companies often limit the number of sessions they will pay for and restrict the therapeutic techniques utilized during the treatment process. Depending on your benefits, private pay rates may be lower than insurance co-pays. Please check with your insurance provider for specifics.
Do we meet in person or virtually?
I offer in-person and teletherapy sessions.
What if I still want to use insurance?
TherapyMetrics is an Out of Network (OON) provider, which means I am able to provide you with a monthly Superbill detailing the payments you have made for therapy sessions. You may be able to submit this document to your insurance company for partial reimbursement of therapy services. Please contact your insurance company directly for information regarding your eligibility and reimbursement rates. Please be aware that a mental health diagnosis is required to be provided to your insurance company for reimbursement if you utilize this option.
